Legoland as it once was.
Legoland is one of the few stores at the Mall of America that has been there since the mall opened, which is why I was surprised to see no Legos in Legoland last time I visited. All that is left is a few support beams.
The good news here is that they are building a bigger and better Legoland. It will be in the same location as the previous one and the new store will be open in November.
There is a temporary Lego store in Nickelodeon Universe, near West Market Square, so you can still buy your Legos, but there are no giant Lego creations at this time or places to go and play with Legos.
If you are at the Mall of America and get pictures of the construction, let us know and we’ll post them. Unfortunately last time I visited, I didn’t have my camera.
