Over the weekend we went down to see a friend get married in Iowa and it was a very nice wedding. Congratulations Kurt and Lora!! On our way back we got to stop at Whippy Dip on Decorah, IA. It’s like a Dairy Queen only better and cheaper! If you go to Decorah, go to Whippy Dip.

The Whippy Dip is da bomb. I spent every summer from when I was 7 until I was 18 visiting my grandparents in Decorah. I used to scrounge under the couch (or davenport as they say back there) for loose change in order to get an afternoon Slushy Whip (slush & milkshake combo drink — to die for).
Can't go wrong at the Whippy Dip!!
I Love the Whippy Dip! I was just there this past week! They have really good food. And their shirts are pretty kool too. I wish i could have got one…I love their name!! Go to Whippy Dip!!!!

During Dorian (music camp at Luther-GO), We got to walk down there a lot.
They have SUCH good ice cream.
My fav is da watermelon Gourmet Cooler, and the butterfinger tornado with twist ice cream
whippy dip is ok… but where you really need to go if you’re in Decorah on a fine summer day, is take a walk down to the sugarbowl!! ITs WAAAAAY better than Whippy Dip
