Thanks Tomas – I just looked at the logs and while the several sites are blacklisted, it doesn’t list any blocked attempts by them. I use the stattraq plug-in to view my referrers and those sites are still listed. Someone else indicated that maybe they aren’t real referrers but 403 errors. I’m not sure how to tell. I guess I just don’t like to see my referrer logs all jammed up like that.

TAD, Referrer Karma doesn’t block them from your stats, it blocks them form your content. Or so I believe. Eventually, when they realize that they are not reaching their goal with your site they should stop. Check out your referrer karma lots to see what’s happening. You should see lots of blocked attempts by the spam site. To find your referrer karma stats, see the official referrer karma site.

Hi, I’m trying to use Referrer Karma, but the damned sites that are referer spamming me are still doing it. Is there a list someplace to add the bad guys or what else might I be missing?
