Holiday Inn St Cloud

Home: Well we made it back. Our trip was pretty nice even though the weather was so so. Saturday night we stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn in St Cloud and it is really nice. They had three pools, two hot tubs, basketball, two volleyball / badminton courts and lots of video games. Pretty sweet.

Memorial Day 2004

Home: Memorial Day weekend is here and we’re heading on a road trip. First we are off to Buffalo Minnesota on Saturday for Christi’s uncles birthday party. Then we stay overnight in St. Cloud and off to Alexandria on Sunday for a graduation party. Finally returning home Sunday evening. Sound like there could be some interesting weather on the way so I’ll keep my camera ready.

Shopping

Shopping: Christi and I went out on a shopping spree this afternoon. We didn’t do to bad either. I got two shirts at Kohls for only $10. However I did get one shirt at Express for more than a few $$. I’ll look damn good in it though, or so I’m told. =)

PaylessPrint

PaylessPrint: Hokey smokes. PaylesPrint has made major movement in Yahoo! over the past week. They went from not being in Yahoo! to #1 for Payless Print and #3 for Minneapolis Printing! And they show up for most searches related to Minnesota and printing. That is some good search engine optimization.

Blue Firewire Cable

Blue Firewire: I stopped by MicroCenter last night and got a cool firewire cable that comes with a built in blue LED light. It’s so cool. They had other colors like white and red available but all the green in six foot were sold out.

[UPDATED 1/23/50] I have posted some concerns over this cable.

MacOSX Theme - Oscar

Oscar: My MacOSX Theme Oscar will be coming to Windows on June 1st.

CSS

CSS: So I’ve been playing with Style Sheets more and more and they are awesome. My next project may be re-designing the Chatfield MN site totally in style sheets. It should turn out really cool!

Wedding Invites Out

Home: A few updates to tell you about. The wedding invites have gone out! We dropped them in the mailbox last night. Also the Payless Print search engine optimization is going great! They have moved up in Google in only a few days!

Funnels?

Funnels? So the storms that rolled through on May 9th may created funnel clouds and brief tornados in the Twin Cities, but I had no idea that I may have been watching them form! Check out W.I.R.T Forms and see what I’m talking about.

Espresso for Safari

Espresso for Safari: It seems that the Safari web browser has a default delay that slows down your web viewing experience. Not a lot but some. Check out this O’Reilly post about how to speed up the Safari web browser. It worked for me and seems quite nice!!
