iMac G5
The all new, redesigned, iMac is out. And it supports the G5 Chip. I like the new design and I’d love to see one, but it kind of makes me miss the old design. I hope they don’t do away with it as it looked like a great computer to me.

Mountain Dew continues it’s push for new versions of Mountain Dew as we just picked up Pitch Black at Target today. This black version of Mountain Dew is grape flavored and follows Code Red, Live Wire and Baja Blast (only at Taco Bell).
Back from the wedding and the Maui trip. It’ll take a few days to get back into the swing of things but we are back!!
Well it’s nice to be back on the farm again. We arrived home last night and it’s such a different pace of life around here My mom had to go to someplace an hour away and be there at 9 am and she left at 8. In the cities she’d have to leave a like 7. We are running a few errands today and hopefully just relaxing.
I saw the coolest thing this morning. While watching from my rear view mirror a semi did a u-turn behind me. Now it wasn’t in an open parking lot or anything special like that, it was in regular city streets. Pretty impressive if you ask me. And the driver just wiped it around like it was a little car.
Netscape 7.2 was released today. I’m not sure what the new features are, or if it’s just a maintenance release but it’s worth a check out. Very similar to Mozilla, however a different name.
Note: Other browsers REALLY need to get spell check if they want me to change.
And now it’s time for a weekend update. I was so busy this weekend I didn’t write in my blog. So here it goes. Friday we had the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Both were a lot of fun. They guys and I went downtown to Gameworks, had dinner and drank beers. We even rode the mechanical bull. Ok so my brother and my cousin were great at it, Christi’s brother was ok and I didn’t do so well. I think I’m still sore. We had lots of fun playing games and drinking beer. The only bad part was the air hockey table was broken. Next time Pat. I still challenge you! Saturday I spent the morning recovering and then we did some wedding stuff and pretty much relaxed the rest of the day. We did watch 50 First Dates which is really sad. It’s partly comedy and partly drama. Not what I was expecting but a good movie none the less. We also watched some new National Lampoons movie about college. No not Van Wilder, something newer. It was weird and not the best. Sunday we went shopping for rehearsal clothes for me, some wedding gifts, and wedding stuff in general. Then started to pack for Hawaii! Phew, we did a lot this weekend.
Mark McGuinn is coming to Minneapolis!! Saturday, November 20, 2004 Target Center. He is performing with Sammy Kershaw in a show that benefits the Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters. I really wanna go. Show Details
Hurricane Charley is about to hit the Tampa area and when I was watching the news reports this morning I realized that’s where a friend of mine just moved. So I caught him on instant messenger service and found out he’s 50 miles in from the cost, doesn’t have to evacuate, and really isn’t doing much preparing. It’s his first hurricane so he doesn’t know what to expect. He may hook his iSight up to his PowerBook and create a video. Wouldn’t that be cool!
I almost forgot to post about the ducks we fed last Saturday. They used to be little baby ducks but now they are all grown up. We were feeding them bird seed when my future sister in law decided to hand feed them. She put her hand, full of seed, on the ground and waited. When the first duck finally came to eat she jumped and scared the poor duck. But, she put her hand back down and they came back. So Christi and I decided to join in. We put our hands down and the ducks ate out of ours too. Tickled a little but didn’t hurt. Keep in mind these are wild ducks, not petting zoo ducks. It was actually a lot of fun!
