The idea is to take an iMac G4, chop off the head and charge half as much. Meaning a price around $500? Possibly a box that is 1.25GHz, with 256MB of RAM, a 40GB to 80GB hard drive, a Combo optical drive, USB 2.0, Firewire 400, 10/100Base-T Ethernet, a modem, and support for Airport Extreme, VGA, and DVI, packaged with Appleworks and a special version of iLife without iDVD. Course the coolest design would also accompany it. The idea would to help lure those PC users who think Macs costs to much. Granted with this new Mac box you’d have to get a monitor but you can use just about any monitor with a Mac. Including the one you are using now!
