iTunes Video Store

With iTunes 4.8 we are one step closer to the iTunes Video Store.

From MacRumors.com

One blog points out that Apple’s iTunes Music store now appears to offer the ability to sell videos as well as songs. This takes advantage of iTunes 4.8 new features allowing it to manage and play video files.

Several readers note that the latest version of iTunes supports video playback — which is a new feature in iTunes. Obviously, users are speculating about long-running thoughts of a video version of the iTunes Music Store and Video capable iPods.

I hope that it expands past just music videos, however it’s a good addition as more and more CDs are coming with bundled DVDs now. I guess that’s incentive to buy the CD and not just download the music. I haven’t bought any music that comes with videos yet, however it could just be a matter of time.
