News and media websites have a tendency to look rather crowded and cluttered. Coming across a nice design just doesn’t happen that often. Until now. The new WCCO TV website got an overhaul recently and it’s a media website done right!

The design is simple and clean. Making the site easy to navigate and a pleasure to look at. There is more text than images which makes it load faster and easier to read. But the feature I like most is the video. All the video on the site is done with Flash which means it works on any machine that has the Flash plug-in; which most do. The quality is amazing, it’s fast loading and it’s video done right. No requirements based on your browser or OS, just video that works.

This is a great example that other sites, like KTTC, can learn from.
