Toro Power Shovel Plus

Just got done shoveling with my new Toro Power Shovel Plus and I have to say it’s quite handy.

To set the scene we have 4 to 5 inches of heavy wet snow. The Power Shovel works up to six inches, however my show kept sticking together making clumps bigger than six inches. It’s also warm out, about 32.

The Power Shovel worked very well. When the snow didn’t just push and stick together, the Power Shovel threw it quite a ways. It will take a little adjustment to find the right way of using it for me, but it’s much easier than shoveling. I did find out that it seemed to work quite well win my left hand vs my right. Not sure why, but I’m still working on angle, speed and all that stuff.

Site Updates Coming

I have to big updates in the works to launch next week.

The first is Feed Subscription Button Maker 2. (yet to find a better name) I’ve been working on an updated system that works better for you, is easier for me to update and has more buttons.

The second is a site design update. Someone told me my Christmas lights didn’t look good (sad), so I’m taking them down. I have a design tweak in the works that won’t change a lot, but just enough to re-energize the site design.

Regift It On eBay

If you got something you didn’t want for Christmas, have no fear, eBay is here!

Click here for your favorite eBay items

Take that special sweater or that lame movie that your grandma thought you’d like and sell it on eBay.

Taking time to regift an item is tedious. Do you remember who gave it to you? Do you know if the person you are regifting it to will like it? When is your next opportunity?

Take the time now to sell it on eBay to someone who really wants it and they’ll give you money in return! That’s better than regifting as you get something out of it.

Back to Work Everyone!

Well now that Christmas is over, it’s back to work.

I hope everyone had a great holiday and just think, soon we’ll get another day off for New Years!!

I know Christmas isn’t about presents, but a big thank you goes out to my family for all the great stuff I got. Yes, I think I was spoiled rotten. One of the coolest gifts I got was from my wife. She got me a nice four in one game table. Ping-Pong, Air Hockey, Pool and Foosball!! This is wonderful!

From my blog to yours…

Blog with Performancing Extension

I’ve just installed a cool looking extension called Performancing.  What it does is allows you to post to your blog from any Firefox window.  No need to go to your blog, login and then post.  This extension allows for multiple blog accounts and seems pretty slick so far.  This is my first test post so we’ll see what happens.  Kinda reminds me of what Flock is trying to become.

One bad note, it doesn’t notice my SpellBound spell check extension so I’m without spell check when I post this!  That’s a major issue for me. ;)

Christmas Interactive Cheer

Every now and then someone forwards me a Christmas card that they were sent from another company. I guess I’m not special enough to get sent it in the first place. ;)

Anyways, I thought I’d share two that I received yesterday.

Get Your Ding a Ding Ding On from space150 is an interesting and odd music video of sorts. It’s so good bad that I just had to share.

SiteLab’s Ginger Bread Man interactive card is much more fun. You get to chase around a gingerbread man flinging frosting at him to try and decorate him. Lots of fun here.

Goodbye Mac Microsoft IE

Internet Explorer IconFinally, Internet Explorer on the Mac is dead.

Back in June 2003, Microsoft officially stopped developing the browser, but, on December 31st, they’ll officially stop supporting it. And, on January 31st, they’ll remove the download link from the Microsoft website. Instead they are telling users to migrate to Apple’s Safari. (Firefox is also a good choice!)

If you are still using the Mac version of Internet Explorer, take five minutes and check out Safari or Firefox. Not only will they completely import your bookmarks and profiles, they’ll give you better security, more features and a better browsing experience overall. Plus it’s free. :)

To Cold to Blog?

I’m thinking that it’s to cold to blog this morning. When I got up it was about -17 and felt like -30!!!

Definitely, to cold to blog. :)

Candy Cigarettes

When I was a kid I remember getting candy cigarettes. I was so cool! I’m sure that Target or Walmart would never sell such a thing these days but when I was at a store in the Mall of America the other day, there they were.

Candy Cigarettes

Now I like the candy version of cigarettes much more than the real version and having them again is just fun. :)
