Goodbye Mac Microsoft IE

Internet Explorer IconFinally, Internet Explorer on the Mac is dead.

Back in June 2003, Microsoft officially stopped developing the browser, but, on December 31st, they’ll officially stop supporting it. And, on January 31st, they’ll remove the download link from the Microsoft website. Instead they are telling users to migrate to Apple’s Safari. (Firefox is also a good choice!)

If you are still using the Mac version of Internet Explorer, take five minutes and check out Safari or Firefox. Not only will they completely import your bookmarks and profiles, they’ll give you better security, more features and a better browsing experience overall. Plus it’s free. :)

Goodbye Internet Explorer on the Mac, you will not be missed.
