Now Using OpenDNS

OpenDNSI’m not sure why, but I bought into the hype. OpenDNS is a free service that claims to make the internet better. It’s safer as it warns against phishing attacks, supposedly speeds up my connection and is smarter about a few domain typos.

It’s quick and easy to setup as long as you have access to your router. They even provide great instructions for different types of routers.

I’ve been using OpenDNS for a few days and it’s working great. Is it faster? I’m not sure. My internet was pretty fast before. But you can never be to sure or to fast when it comes to the internet. I do know that it didn’t make anything worse and is worth the checkout. ;)
