For those of us that can't get TV reception nor FIO....cannot afford satelite, DSL is the only alternative, HULU goes beyond any other free service...smooth streaming, generous picture quality and daily up-loads of movies and TV shows....
the few 20 sec. commercials are tolerable....
thanks HULU!

Hulu beats Joost in terms of material available and memory usage(the Joost software is kind of a Ram hog on my 512mb machine). I mean, its kind of like Tivo but better because those shows are there for you whenever you're ready and you don't even have to program anything. That's the future of television.

Playback on JOOST is far better in terms of quality not sure how they are doing it but the playback is near to dvd quality streaming. If HULU would get together with JOOST's delivery would be ideal.

Zamir - I can't say that I've ever really used Joost. From the little I have, I have to say that Joost has lots of shows I've never heard about and it requires a separate download. If Joost could run on any OS and get network TV shows in there, I'd be a lot more interested.
