For my golden birthday (last March) present my wife got me a gift certificate to go skydiving. It was something I’d always wanted to do but had never done. Then, on June 20th, we went over to Skydive Twin Cities and I made my jump!

My father in-law, Mike Soldan, also wanted to go skydiving so we invited him along. He was a bit more scared with the experience but had fun too.

We recently had our downstairs bathroom remodeled by Anthony Raduenz Specialty. It was a small bathroom but one that we used quite often. We were worried about grout coming out from in-between the shower tiles and the shower floor also coming apart. We didn’t even know about the tons of mold we had too. Anthony whipped it into shape and we got an all new bathroom that we love.
Since the bathroom is small, it’s hard to get before and after picts, but here are a few.
I just received my free Google business cards in the mail.
No, I don’t work for Google, but it’s a promotional item for Google’s profile pages. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
Ohh and you can see my Google profile here.
It’s amazing how far we’ve come in the past decade or so when it comes to the environment. We are all taking steps every day to make the world a better place, whether we make an attempt to, or just do it out of habit. And things are only getting better.
Check out this Sun Chips bag that will decompose on its own!
After about 14 weeks, Sun Chips bags will disappear. Can you imagine?! I look at the ditches along the road and there is so much trash. Wouldn’t it be great if it would all just disappear on its own? Maybe someday it will. This is a big step in the right direction and I hope all food makers hop on board.

This year, I decided to turn 29.1 instead of 30. Now, it’s not that I’m afraid of 30, but I just felt like it sounds better if I stay in my 20’s a bit longer.
Yes, it’s true, I’m now 30. Back when I was a kid there was not internet, no cell phones, no SUVs. We had Intellivision, Garbage Pal Kids cards, and three channels on TV that you had to get up to change. These whippersnappers today have it so easy. Ha ha, there is my old man talk for the day.
This August my wife and I will welcome a new addition to our family.
We don’t know if it’s a boy or girl yet, but will know before it’s born. However we don’t plan on sharing it with anyone.
Until the baby arrives, we have a lot of getting ready to do. We already have the baby’s room painted, light yellow, and have started looking at strollers and cribs.
I’m also sure there are many things or me to learn. Examples:

After months of work, the new TwisterMc.com design is live!
Little things have been changing over the past week or so, like the new favicon, but the button has been pushed and doesn’t the new design look good?
If you find any issues, let me know. I’m eager to have it looking it’s best for everyone. Heck, it even looks good in IE 6, except for the rollovers. Close counts there. If you’re using IE 6, upgrade already. Might I suggest Firefox?
The day of change is upon us as Barack Obama gets sworn in as the next President of the United States.
A lot of eyes will be on the TV, or on the internet, watching history be made.
In celebration of this day, I put together an Obama desktop wallpaper.
The full image is 1600×1200 and was created for Pixojo.com. If this one doesn’t suit you, there are other Obama Wallpapers to choose from.
January 20th is a great day in American history and it’s nice to see a president get the type of fanfare and respect they deserve.
I’m not big on new years resolutions. In fact I like to say that years ago my resolution was to give up resolutions. So to keep that one, I can’t make new ones.
However, there are a few things that I have on my to-do list for 2009. No biggies, but that’s ok.
