Todo - A Great Little iPod Task List

I’ve been waiting and waiting for the Apple App Store.  One of the items I really wanted was a checklist so I could keep track of things I needed at the store and tasks to be done, all without being connected to the internet.  Now I have that in Todo.

Todo is a $10 application that specializes in creating task lists on your iPod Touch or iPhone.  It’s pretty basic in use, but does allow for multiple task lists, priorities, due dates, notes and more.  You can even customize the line that crosses out a completed item.

14 Super Simple Ways to Get Things Done GTD

GTD iMacWith everyone so obsessed with getting things done (GTD) I thought I’d share a few easy tips to get started on getting things done today.

  1. Stop Twittering. Only your stalkers need to know your every move.
  2. Turn of instant messaging. *bleep* Can you help me? *bleep* Can you fix this. *bleep* Are you ignoring me?
  3. Stop checking your email every 5 minutes. Email will come as long as you check it, so just ignore it for at least 15 minutes. Props go out to those that can turn it off for an hour.

View Google Calendar in Thunderbird

Update: Here is the best way to sync Google Calendar & Thunderbird. Works like a charm.

Getting Things Done (GTD) is very popular these days and people are always looking for an easy way to save another minute. With that in mind, I’ve found a simple way to view my Google Calendar in Thunderbird.

Step 1: Go to your Google Calendar page, click on the down arrow next to the calendar you want and choose ‘Calendar settings’. If your calendar is shared, right click non the blue HTML button in the Calendar Address area and copy the link location. If your calendar is not shared, right click on the blue HTML button in the Private Address area and copy the link location.
