Worry
Your foot is not falling off, it’s just a blister.
Lily is a tough little girl. She has been known to fall down and scrape her knee, be bleeding, and not blink an eye. But over the weekend she got a blister in the outside of her big toe and it was like her foot was severed.
She walked as if it was broken, hobbling all afternoon. We decided to put a band-aid on it for the day, and in the evening she completely broke down if we even talked about taking the band-aid off.
Why are you walking like that? What’s wrong? Is it broken?
Dear little girl, please don’t scare Dad like that.
It all started on Sunday. We went to the play area at the mall and Lily was having all sorts of fun; like always. I was watching her and making sure none of the other kids ran her over and all was good.
Then I noticed something strange. Lily wasn’t able to walk right. Every time she took a step, one of her feet kinda gave out and dragged behind her Then she’d fall. That’s when Dad started to freak out.
