Remember Garbage Pail Kids? The trading cards & stickers of sick and twisted little kids?!

Man I had so many Garbage Pail Kids cards. A little disgusting? Yes. But not as bad as the gum that came with them. I wonder if my Mom still has my collection of cards?

And did you know they re-released some recently? All new cards, old cards, and even some holographic cards! I may have to buy a few on Amazon for nostalgia’s sake.

Scream 4 – Cheesy but worth the rent.

The year was 1996 and I was in high school when Scream came out. I wasn’t a big fan of horror movies, but I somehow saw this one.

Then there was Scream 2 and Scream 3. Each move a not quite as good as the one before it but at least the characters stayed the same and they all follow the same basic storyline.

And now there is Scream 4; or Scre4m.

Once again the movie isn’t that great, but it’s Scream. Yea the acting is cheesy and the plot is basically the same but at least all the main characters, or more importantly actors, are there.

One of the best parts of the movie is how it makes fun of itself. From the characters to the plot, there are plenty of cheap shots. They even work in a scene that includes Facebook and Twitter. How progressive.

If you grew up with the originals, then this is a must see. For $0.99 at Redbox, you can’t go wrong. Just keep your expectations low.

Remember when we were younger and the music was awesome. Now we look back and don’t admit to liking it while secretly loving it because it brings back good memories?

Well I’ve been going through my old CDs and deciding which ones to get rid of. If I’m on the fence about any, I just import them into iTunes so I know I have them if I ever need a flashback moment.

Hypercolor T-shirts – Flashback Fun

Do you remember Hypercolor t-shirts? The clothing that changed color when touched?

Hypercolor clothing was around in the late 80s to early 90s and was quite popular. The shirts were one solid color, but when heat was applied, it changed to another color. So things like hugs or other people touching your shirt would bring out a new color.

It was a fun idea, but flawed. It seems that if you were nervous you could change the color of your shirt by sweating. You could also improperly wash the shirt rending it no longer color changing. A bit touchy if you ask me. There are quite a few times where you didn’t want your clothing changing colors but it would anyway.

Either way, Hypercolor shirts are hard to come by these days, but not impossible. Your best bet is grabbing one of eBay or looking for them at garage sales.
