Mall of America Welcomes Nickelodeon

Snoopy is out and SpongeBob is in. The amusement park in the Mall of America is officially getting overrun by Nickelodeon cartoons.

Over the next few months, the rides will be transformed into Nickelodeon themed rides. These include “Spongebob Squarepants,” “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius,” “My Life as a Teenage Robot” and “Rugrats.”

Better yet, new rides are on their way also. Including a possible 70-foot-tall free-fall tower tower and an upside down rollercoaster!! The coaster is set to be themed to “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

I was a big fan of Snoopy, but I think that Nickelodeon is an excellent choice to bring to the park. On my next visit to the mall, I’ll have to remember to take my camera!

Not to start a rumor, but the Mall of America does have a large underwater area that would be perfect for SpongeBob. By bringing in SpongeBob & Patrick and making admission to Underwater World free, it may be a great way to bring in more visitors. I know I’ve been to the mall many many times but never paid to see Underwater World.

What do you think?

I was a big fan of snoopy also but this sounds great. It sounds like it will be wonderful with it being nickelodeon themed. I am very excited to come and see the new rides when they open. I like the idea that the person had about spongebob and patrick being part of the underwater adventure, I think that would be a great idea. I also like the idea of the underwater adventure being free. i think you would get a lot more visitors.

Okay, I was sad when I read on Facebook that they would be replacing Camp Snoopy with the Nickelodeon cartoon phenomenons. But then I thought about how this popular this network is rising. Maybe it won’t be such a bad idea. This is not only only going to get more attraction from visitors, but also better business. And with the Spongebob underwater adventure, it sure would be a hit!

I think you shouldnt entirely faze out snoopy ,how about a museum for him and a small train ride in mall for the little ones like near food court if there is one plus snoopy was and still are a great cartoon for the baby boomers when they were children or how about taking him outside as a shuttle ride for guests arriving to mall thata way charlie brown!
