I’m not a big fan of just giving medicine for the sake of it, but it seems that Lily has had a cough for the past few weeks and I’d like it to go away.

Just as I thought it was getting better, it got worse.

She spent half the night last night coughing and her nose was running all day yesterday. I expect a big cruddy mess this morning too.

I sometimes wish I could just give her something so she could sleep so she could get better. Like toddler NyQuil; which doesn’t exist.

Now I know I can’t give her NyQuil and we are going to call the nurse line today to see if there is anything to be worried about.

The biggest thing is that it just won’t go away. Seems like it’s been around for more than a few weeks.

I’d just like my healthy little girl back please.
