My new weather gage is ready for the end of the world.

For my birthday I got a wireless rain gauge weather station and it appears that it’s already ready for the end of the world.

End of the World Ready

First off, it measures up to 99.98 inches of rain in an hour, day, week or month. Something tells me that if we got 99.98 inches of rain in that short of time we’d all be screwed.

Second, it measures indoor temps from 32° F to 122° F. I’m not sure about you, but if my house is a toasty 122° inside, I’m not going to be here.  That’s about as hot as death valley is during a heat wave.

Third, it measures outside temperature from -4° F to 158° F. Now in Minnesota, getting below -4° happens every year. Seems pretty high for a max low actually. However that 158° outside temperature will make it seem nice and cool inside at only 122°. Either way, I think I’m going to die.

I’m not sure why they’d advertise such extreme temperatures but it does make you wonder if it could really handle them. Hopefully I’ll never know.

Hilarious! You got to wonder if they designed it for these specs, or if they just built the thing, then pushed it to it’s extremes and used those numbers… or the creators of the packaging just made up the numbers.
