Blog with Performancing Extension

I’ve just installed a cool looking extension called Performancing.  What it does is allows you to post to your blog from any Firefox window.  No need to go to your blog, login and then post.  This extension allows for multiple blog accounts and seems pretty slick so far.  This is my first test post so we’ll see what happens.  Kinda reminds me of what Flock is trying to become.

One bad note, it doesn’t notice my SpellBound spell check extension so I’m without spell check when I post this!  That’s a major issue for me. 😉

Seems to have worked pretty slick. But it bypasses any plugins that are installed in WordPress (or your blogging software) like my Technorati tags plugin. Also didn’t accept my category choices.

It’s a good start, and has lots of possibilities, but it’s not my preferred way of posting to my blog yet.

Performancing is a nice little add-in. For a *much* more advanced blog editor, check out RocketPost:

    (I designed it.)

It supports trackbacks, built-in photo editing, auto links to related posts, and lots more.

Manish, you’re isn’t browser based. This thread is about a blog editor built into a web browser. There are plenty of stand alone apps that work great so I don’t see anything special about yours. Plus, yours doesn’t work cross platform. Sorry.
