DHTML: I’ve started to learn DHTML. Ok so I already know it without knowing it if that makes any sense. But I’ve started looking at my new book and here is my quick DHTML day one example. (no nothing fancy or even cool yet)
Either Hand Gloves: Ok so there was a riddle about gloves the other day and one person chimed in to say they had gloves that didn’t matter what hand they went on. I didn’t believe them but they gave me this link http://www.ddsd.k12.wi.us/boosters/images/gloves.jpg. COOL! I gotta go find me a pair now.
Home: Well we finished watching 10.5 last night on NBC and it was an ok movie. Could have been better if they’d stop with the obsessive zooming in and out and weird camera angles. Geez. Loved the breaking up of the screen though (block or ‘Dallas’ look as my friend Stephan says). Now it’s finale week and so there are to many shows to watch. From the last Friends, to the Scrubs wedding and the OC!!!! I’m gonna have to watch some tv this week. Good thing the final American Idol isn’t for a few weeks yet. Someone is smart over on FOX.
“Quick we need a flash animation” is what I was told this morning. So I spent a few hours and created a golf flash banner that incorporates animation, 3D graphics and sound effects.
Home: Well I had a good weekend. Had to run back home to do a few wedding things, including deciding the cake. We didn’t get to do cake testing but we got to do frosting testing. Also over the weekend I got a new book. It’s DHTML and CSS and should show me some cool new tricks. When it does I’ll be sure to share. That’s it for now. I gotta go download my free iTunes song of the day and then I’ll be off to work!
Artropolis: D C Tech AV has gone live! This is one of my designs and I’m so happy they picked it because it breaks away from the norm. This site is black with blue/purple hightlights. I thought that gave it a techy feel. D C Tech AV is located in Minneapolis Minnesota and services most of MN and western WI. It’s your source for technology, audio, video, security and automation.
Artropolis: Well 1/2 my crisis is over. I re-created my Flash Follow Me app that was accidentally deleted. The new version is much better but that’s because I’ve put more time into it. I’ve also copied the file to another folder so I’d have to delete two in order to loose it this time. The other 1/2 of my crisis was the design. If the client chooses it I’ll have some work to do re-creating that, but for now, I’m just going to let it go.
Artropolis: I’ve come to accept the fact that my deleted files are forever gone. After using some software to look for deleted files I’ve realized it’s no use. The software found many files but nothing I wanted. Oh well.
Home: Yesterday I did get my XML portfolio working a little more. You can see a better, but not satisfactory, version of my XML Portfolio here. Hopefully I’ll get this figured out some day.
Also, Chrisit and I went for a walk last night to Wendys. Might not sound like a big deal but Wendys is about a mile away. One way! Plus it was like 90 out! Actually it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it very much.
Now that the iTunes Music store has been updated I’ve gotten a few new songs. I downloaded four Big & Rich songs, including Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy. Oh and the ability to print off jewel case selves is awesome! I think it’s one of the best new features.
Well something happened yesterday. Some how, somewhere a folder got deleted and I really want it back. I’ve been searching for unerase software with no luck.
