I read an article today in the paper about how Country Music is now number one in popularity.\u00a0 Artists such as Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, and Sugarland now is bringing in more and more fans especially in the 16-24 year old age group.\u00a0 Apparently Country Music has not been this big since Garth Brook’s popularity.\u00a0 It said that most people listen to country anymore because of the message that usually can be found in most songs plus its usually family friendly.\u00a0 Rap and Rock usually does not have a message or story in their music but country does which people can relate to in these turbulent times.\u00a0 Even the Dixie Chicks who thumbed their noses at their fans, the president and radio stations sold 2 million copies on their last album.\u00a0 This really does not surprise me that much as I have always liked the fact that you can find something to relate to in country music, it makes you feel unlike some!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
