Crispy M&M’s-Where did they go?

Filed under: General — Christi at 9:26 am on Friday, April 28, 2006

So my husband and I were walking through target the other day and we realized that Crispy M&Ms have disappeared. I don’t remember hearing they were going to discontinue them but all of a sudden they are no more. My husband being the M&M fanatic that he is was very disappointed. I was too as I always liked them. I wonder what made them discontinue them.

  1. According to most of the staff who work at M&M-Mars, Inc., “Crispy M&M’s” are finally returning to all fine retailers anywhere in the U.S. in February 15, 2013, replacing “Pretzel M&M’s” (which were being discontinued by M&M-Mars,Inc. in January 15, 2013, due to infrigment rights of “chocolate-covered pretzels” and with the Orange M&M character having his giant pretzel being transformed into his own rice crispiness inside). Crispy M&M’s, just like the other five varieties of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies, features the same 6-core color scheme as the other 5 “M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies” varieties, and’ll be brought back in all fine retailers anywhere in the U.S. around February 15, 2013 (which’ll be part of the “U.S. Candy & Snack Food Revival” when being promoted and advertised between January 15, 2013 and February 15, 2013, just like “Super Tootsie Roll Pops”, full-size “Hershey’s Krackel Bars”, the 7 lines worth of over 178 flavors of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans with two “rookie” flavors being added, “Pringles Ridges” and “Torengos” from Diamond Foods, two varieties of “Hershey’s Kissables”, the eight varieties of “Wonka Exceptionals” chocolate candy bar line, etc.)…….”ANYWAY, I’M GOING TO SHOW THIS COMMENT TO EVERYONE ELSE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!”

  2. We now know that their “Candy & Snack Food Revival” from various manufacturers in competition are finally coming to all of its fine retailers anywhere in the U.S. market between January 15, 2013 and February 15, 2013. Here are any of the following products that are finally coming back to almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. market as permanently-popular products from various candy and snack food manufacturers.

    * “Crispy M&M’s” are finally returning to almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. by February 15, 2013, as one of the 6 permanently-popular varieties of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies, featuring the same 6-core color scheme as all of the other permanently-popular varieties of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies, replacing “Pretzel M&M’s” (which were temporarily popular and not being sold very well), and due to infrigment rights with “chocolate-covered pretzels” and with the Orange M&M character having his giant pretzel inside being transformed to his own rice crispiness, “Pretzel M&M’s” were being discontinued as well in January 15, 2013.

When Tootsie Roll Industries is finally ending their “Watch for New Flavors Added to Your Mix!” campaign for Tootsie Roll Pops around January 15, 2013, the reddish “raspberry” flavor was being dropped and the revised 7-flavor original assortment for both traditional “Tootsie Pops” and “Tootsie Pop Drops” hard candies will each consist of chocolate and over six of the same fruit flavors as “Charms Sweet Pops” (cherry, orange, grape, blue raspberry, strawberry, and watermelon).

  3. Kirk says:

    Oops! I ment June 30th, not June 31st. Sorry!

  4. Kirk says:

    I’m not trying to be mean Derek, but I’ve listened to you long enough! Last year I was waiting forever to find Crispy M&M’s and I was really angry when there were none in stores on June 31, 2011 at all! Then you say 2012, and now you’re saying 2013! I hate it when you lie to us and I’m sure every one of us are tired of your lies so you should stop posting about Crispy M&M’s while you can! I’m sorry to be like this, Derek.

  5. We’ve finally learned from M&M-Mars, Inc. that Crispy M&M’s won’t be available anywhere in “North America” (the U.S. & Canada) again until at least February 15, 2013, but you can still buy them in Europe, Australia, and South East Asia. As of January 15, 2013, when the Orange M&M character finally gets his giant pretzel inside being transformed into his own rice crispiness once again, Pretzel M&M’s were being discontinued because of infrigment rights with “chocolate-covered pretzels” and Coconut M&M’s were also being discontinued as well because of infrigment rights with Hershey’s “Almond Joy/Mounds” bars (which were chocolate-covered coconut bars that either have “almonds” or “no almonds” respectively). And don’t forget, here are any of the following candy and snack food products that are finally returning almost all of its fine retailers anywhere nationwide in February 15, 2013, which is due to the “U.S. Candy & Snack Food Revival” being promoted and advertised in January 15, 2013:

    * “Crispy M&M’s” (M&M-Mars, Incorporated)
    * “Super Tootsie Roll Pops” (Tootsie Roll Industries)
    * “Hershey’s Kissables” in two varieties (The Hershey Company)
    * Full-size versions of “Hershey’s Krackel Bars” (The Hershey Company)
    * “Wonka Exceptionals” in eight varieties, including “Golden Graham Crunch” as its revival of the original Wonka Bars (Nestle’s “Willy Wonka Candy Company” division)
    * “Planters Peanut Butter” in two varieties each for Original, Honey Roasted, and Reduced Fat forms: “creamy” and “crunchy” (Kraft Foods Global)
    * “Planters Snak Mix Mania” in two varieties (Kraft Foods Global)
    * “Planters Pretzel Mania” in three varieties (Kraft Foods Global)
    * “Planters Cheez Mania” in three varieties (Kraft Foods Global)
    * “Pringles Ridges” in five varieties (Diamond Foods), competing against “Ruffles Stax” in five varieties (PepsiCo’s “Frito-Lay” division)
    * “Torengos” in four varieties (Diamond Foods), competing against “Tostitos Stax” in four varieties (PepsiCo’s “Frito-Lay” division)
    * All 7 lines worth of over 180 flavors of “Jelly Belly Jelly Beans” (128 sugar-sweetened flavors, 2 sugar-sweetened “rookie” flavors, and 50 low-carb sugar-free flavors)
    * …….and a few other candy and snack food products from various manufacturers.

    And don’t forget, Kraft Foods Global’s “Planters” division is finally entering the salty-snack food market in January 15, 2013, with three lines being introduced – the “Potato Chips” line in six varieties, the crispy-ridged crinkle-cut version of the “Potato Chips” line that are called the “Dip Chips” line in five varieties, and “Tortilla Chips” in three varieties; they’ll be available anywhere nationwide in January 15, 2013, along with the following snack food lines that are finally returning to all fine retailers anywhere in the U.S. in February 15, 2013 – the “Cheez Mania” line (three varieties), the “Pretzel Mania” line (three varieties), and the “Snak Mix Mania” line (two varieties).

    As Barack Obama gets to leave the “White House” when the U.S. economy is finally getting better in November 30, 2012, the “U.S. Candy & Snack Food Revival” will finally be created around December 15, 2012. However, it will not get promoted or advertised until January 15, 2013.

  6. Wassup all, My hubby and i have got a question. Has everybody noticed that Rockberries is without question now growing to a number of international locations and furthermore spending a decent amount in promotion and marketing. And they recently offer TV advertisements across Germany on Pro 7. These individuals have furthermore completed an Initial public offering within Germany. Looks to indeed be growing giant extremely fast. Actually does somebody now have any kind of brand-new Facts with regard to Rockberries.com?

  7. DEREK IS A WORTHLESS TROLL says:

    Pretzel and Coconut M&M’s are gone because of infringement issues? Seriously?

    How stupid do you think the Mars legal department is for allowing their production in the first place if this would have been a legitimate issue?

    Hell, Mars makes its own Mounds/Almond Joy knockoff called Bounty. If there’s no legal issue there (there isn’t), it’s asinine to believe there would be one with coconut M&M’s.

    The chocolate covered pretzel thing is just even more ridiculous. As if one person or company had sole rights to making chocolate covered pretzel products.

    You sir, are a moron.

  8. Katie says:

    @Derek Can you give the link/source to where you got your info from because the first time you said it was coming back spring 2011, then June 30, and now Feb 2012.

  9. Derek says:

    Until Crispy M&Ms were being brought back in the U.S. by February 15, 2012, Crispy M&M’s are currently only available in Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia. I also looked elsewhere in the U.S. and M&M-Mars, Inc. makes the crunchy salty-sweet pretzel ones w/o the Yellow M&M’s that are just until the Orange M&M character is finally transforming his giant pretzel to his own rice crispiness inside his body…DID YOU HEAR THAT, EVERYONE!!!

  10. Derek says:

    We have learned from M&M-Mars, Inc. that “M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies” line in the U.S. will finally consist of any of the following 6 permanently-popular varieties to be available for anyone to purchase anywhere in the U.S. market, beginning in early 2012:

    * Milk Chocolate
    * Peanut
    * Peanut Butter
    * Almond
    * Crispy
    * the “M&M’s Minis” variety

  11. WanderinWendall says:

    I have been looking relentlessly, but to no avail I cannot find them anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  12. infamousshae says:

    I am looking online to find out if there is a way I can get a hold of some crispy m&m I will order them if I have to I loved those.

  13. JayBird says:

    I just returned from Europe with my 6 bags of M&M Crispys. They stopped selling them in the US several years ago because of infringement rights of Nestle Crunch bars. So, anytime in Europe, you can always get them in the duty free shops at the airport on your way home. Love ‘em. There’s nothing better.

  14. Krunch King says:

    @ Derek
    Thank you for the resent update, you’ve made my day/month/year!

  15. CURIOS says:

    WILL THE M&M’S MINIS COME BACK??? THE ONES THAT CAME IN SMALL BAGS????

  16. CURIOS says:

    WHERE HAVE THE MINI M & M’S GONE? WILL THEY COME BACK AGAIN??? THE ONES THAT COME IN LITTTLE BAGS

  17. Kirk says:

    There might be a chance that Crispy M&M’s won’t be here on June 30, 2011. They are participating in the M&M’s contests, Reunite M and Movie Tickets.

  18. Kirk says:

    Some people are beginning to say that Crispy M&M’s will only be here for a limited time. Is that true Derek, the person who knows lots of information (That was not an insult).

  19. Derek says:

    I always loved Crispy M&M’s, but I’ve been searching for these in stores and can’t find it anywhere…SORRY!!! – However, until June 30, 2011, they’re still available anywhere in the regions of Europe, Australia & Southeast Asia, THANK YOU!!!

  20. Derek says:

    Around June 30, 2011, according to some of the staff who’ll each get their report from various manufacturers, here are the following examples of a very fewer snack foods and candy products that are finally returning to almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. market.

    Tootsie Roll Industries is finally ending their “Watch for New Flavors Added to Your Mix!” campaign for Tootsie Roll Pops around April 30, 2011, when traditional Tootsie Roll Pops were being re-introduced in its assortment of the original chocolate flavor and over six of the same fruit flavors as Charms Sweet Pops. In addition, Super Tootsie Roll Pops are coming back to the U.S. market around June 30, 2011, and would eventually come in the exact same assortment of over 7 great flavors as traditional Tootsie Roll Pops, but with an extra-large chocolatey chewy candy on the center of each and every one. Around April 30, 2011, Tootsie Roll Industries would eventually discontinue the miniature versions of “Tootsie Roll Pops” around the same time as the ending of the “Watch for New Flavors Added to Your Mix!” campaign for Tootsie Roll Pops.

    Hershey’s Kissables are finally coming back to almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. market by June 30, 2011, most-likely as one of the most-popular products from The Hershey Company and would eventually come in all five of the same colors as they’re ever before, also coming in the two exact varieties: “Milk Chocolate” and “Special Dark” (Mildly Sweet Chocolate). They’re finally replacing almost all of the four varieties of the “Hershey’s Pieces” line with the exception of Reese’s Pieces (which were currently still being most-popular and were never discontinued at all). In addition, the full-size versions of “Hershey’s Krackel” candy bars are one of The Hershey Company’s individual products and Crispy M&M’s are one of the M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies varieties from Mars Incorporated, both of which were finally returning to almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. market by June 30, 2011, most likely as the two most-popular products that are eventually being made of chocolate and crisped rice together, both comparing to Nestle Crunch candy bars.

    And when ConAgra Foods finally acquires Pringles from Proctor & Gamble around April 30, 2011, the “Family Faves”, “Extreme” & “Restaurant Cravers” lines of Pringles potato crisps were being discontinued, and so as all of the original flavors except for The Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Cheddar Cheese, BBQ, Ranch and Salt & Vinegar (which were the only 6 original flavors that were still being most-popular and aren’t discontinued at all). “Pringles Ridges” potato crisps are finally coming in five exact potato chip flavors (The Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Cheddar Cheese, Ranch & BBQ), and “Torengos” tortilla crisps are finally coming in the original “Triangles” variety and two of its additional varieties (“Strips” and “Rounds”) that are all now made of 100% Whole Grain, both of which are finally coming back to almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. market around June 30, 2011, most likely as the two most-popular salty snack food lines that’ll compete against Frito-Lay’s two additional stack snack food lines (“Ruffles Stax” potato crisps in five varieties and “Tostitos Stax” tortilla crisps in thre varieties), the two of which were being introduced on the same exact day as the official grand comeback of “Pringles Ridges” and “Torengos” respectively.

  21. Derek says:

    Everyone have learned that when Crispy M&M’s were once again being re-introduced in the U.S. as its most-popular product by June 30, 2011, the “Orange M&M” character will finally re-appear as the product’s mascot, which is because of the giant pretzel inside the Orange M&M character is becoming invisible and would eventually melt back down to his own crispiness.

    Also, Crispy M&M’s will finally become one of the five most-popular varieties of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies, and were just like the other four most-popular M&M’s varieties that they’ll finally come once again in all six core colors (Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Brown & Yellow). Pretzel M&M’s have lasted only for a limited-time period of 1 1/2 years (January 5, 2010 – June 30, 2011), and they never have any yellow M&M’s at all.

  22. Kirk says:

    I never tried Crispy M&M’s, but I heard they were good!
    The Orange m&m’s name was called Crispy, but when the
    crispy m&m’s got discontinued, he got renamed to Orange.

  23. Derek says:

    Everyone have learned from various manufacturers that the following food items and groceries were most likely returning to the U.S. market by June 30th, 2011, which were most likely called most-popular products from various manufacturers, so here’s a list that I’m going to post it to anyone else who likes it the most.

    * A fewer other food items and groceries

  24. Derek says:

At the end of almost every one of the 150 M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies commercials, the announcer was being heard in a different voice-over. The following six sizes that are being made available in bagged packages were Fun-Size, Single-Serve Size, Serving Size (which includes two servings rather than just one), Individual Size, Family Size and Party Size. 25. Derek says:

    I always loved Crispy M&M’s, they’re my other favorite M&M’s!!!!…But I looked around in stores anywhere and I can’t find them, SORRY!!! – However, if you post up more information on M&M-Mars, Inc. that they’re bringing back Crispy M&M’s by June 30th, 2011 as its most-popular product, you let me know and I’ll post it to you, THANK YOU!!!…Until June 30th, 2011, Crispy M&M’s were still available in Europe, Australia and South-East Asia.

    When Crispy M&M’s are finally being brought back to the U.S. market by June 30, 2011, which is most likely as one of the five most-popular varieties of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies (the other five that were currently still made as most-popular products from M&M-Mars, Inc. were Milk Chocolate, Peanut, Almond, Peanut Butter, and the “M&M’s MINIS” variety), M&M-Mars, Inc. will finally introduce “Dark Chocolate Crispy M&M’s” as the third of the dark chocolate varieties of “M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies” that are finally being manufactured by M&M-Mars, Inc. with the other two being those of “Dark Chocolate M&M’s” and “Dark Chocolate Peanut M&M’s” – All of these three varieties will now be available in any size of bagged packages except for “fun-size” bags, but only for a limited-time period of 2 1/2 years (June 30, 2011 – January 1, 2014).

    The character of “Ms. Green M&M”, who is the only female mascot character for M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies while the other four M&M’s mascot characters were all-male, also appeared on the most-popular “Peanut Butter M&M’s” variety. She will finally appear as mascot for the “M&M’s Dark Chocolate Candies” line of three varieties with another M&M’s character who’ll finally appear alongside her on the packaging of each of these varieties, which’ll most likely begin in June 15, 2011.

    * “Dark Chocolate M&M’s” features Red & Ms. Green together (Red also appeared as the mascot for the most-popular “plain” variety of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies).
    * “Dark Chocolate Peanut M&M’s” features Yellow & Ms. Green together (Yellow also appeared as the mascot for the most-popular “peanut” variety of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies).
    * “Dark Chocolate Crispy M&M’s” features Orange & Ms. Green together (Orange also appeared as the mascot for the most-popular “crispy” variety of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies).

  28. Derek says:

    Everyone have learned from M&M-Mars, Inc. that Crispy M&M’s were finally being brought back to almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. market by June 30, 2011, which is most likely by becoming one of the five most-popular M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies varieties and replacing the “Pretzel M&M’s” variety that lasted only for a limited-time period of 1 1/2 years. Crispy M&M’s, just like the other four most-popular M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies varieties, will finally come in all of the six core colors (Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Brown & Yellow).

    Crispy M&M’s will also finally come in the six sizes of bagged packages (Fun-Size, Single-Serve Size, Serving Size, Individual Size, Family Size & Party Size) and as a bulk candy product, which were much like the other four most-popular M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies varieties that they’re also finally made available at almost each and every fine retailer anywhere in the U.S. market by June 30, 2011. In addition, they’re also finally coming in theatre-sized boxes as well, which were just like the “plain” and “peanut” varieties of M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies that are also being manufactured by M&M-Mars, Inc. and available anywhere in the U.S. market by June 30, 2011.
