14 Great Roller Coaster Photos
There’s something about the thrill of a roller coaster that drives people to find faster, bigger, better coasters. Some race along at 90mph while others catapult you high into the sky.
From the alluring colors, to the roaring steal and the negative Gs, roller coasters are nothing but pure fun, wrapped in a hint of fear.
And sometimes, just the picture of a great coaster can exhilarate you.

New Valleyfair Coaster in 2010?
Rumors are starting to swirl about a new coaster in 2010 for Valleyfair. The rumors are just that for now as there is no concrete evidence or plans in place. A park visitor did mention that he saw what looked like coaster tools and clearing.
…while riding Renegade, after the first drop on the Buckel, I noticed some tools that might be for constructing a rollercoaster. As I looked around the park, I saw a little bit of a clearing by renegade. I noticed this on PowerTower/Wild Thing/Excalibur/Steel Venom. via sscoasters.net
Valleyfair Looses Power
A lightning strike over the weekend may have caused a slow burn in underground power lines. This then took out the power to a large chunk, half, of Valleyfair last night. Riders stuck on rollercoasters had to walk down the lift hill and other riders were helped out of rides also. No injuries were reported which is good an all Valleyfair visitors that had to leave the park due to the power outage can get a free evening pass.
Some Good Renegade Photos
-G has recently taken a trip to Valleyfair and shot some nice Renegade photos along with quite a few other rides in the park.
Myself, I haven’t made it out to Valleyfair yet, but hopefully at the end of this month. ![]()
