That’s 36 feet taller and 8 mph faster than Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point making Kingda Ka the tallest and fastest coaster on earth! However, Kingda Ka offers riders more. I went on Kingda Ka yesterday. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! We waited 2 hours and got the front seat. It’s insanely fast. It goes from 0 to 128 MPH in 3.5 seconds. If you sit in the front, your vision gets blurred from the speed. The drop is fun but the twist is not really neccesary. It doesn’t look like much of a ride but once you’re on it, it goes so fast that it makes for a great ride .
The only thing is that it had to stop and be messed with every 15 minutes, not including loading 3 extra trains on so it was very frustrating to wait in line and not see it running for 15 minutes.
Early in it’s season, Kingda Ka had some troubles with it’s hydraulics and had to be shut down.
This ride is incredibly fast, smooth, and fun. It isn’t for the weak of heart. One girl was just bouncing up and down in excitment when it was her turn and she came back to the station and burst out crying. So if any of your friends don’t want to ride it, don’t make them! Anyways, don’t be afraid of Kingda Ka, it’s over before you know it and once you’re on it, the wait was so totally worth it.
I’ve been on it 9 times, and it never gets boring! It is THE best roller coaster on earth. It is such a rush! I highly recomend any coaster rider/lovers to ride it! The speed is unlike anything you will ever expierence. You feel like you are going 500mph rather than 128- the wind is so strong going that fast your eyes start tearing and your face gets distorted! The spiral is awsome too. Imagine staring straight down 450 or so feet than seeing the earth rotate benaeth you! That is what you will see when going down kingda ka’s spiral.

Kingda Ka was the best ride ever. It goes so fast you can barely see. If you look down it is really high up. But ,thank god, it didn’t come back down (for a brake test. I would’ve flipped. But i recommend it to anyone that reads this. But the wait was 3hrs. (as it is) but once we got up there it broke down so we had to wait another hour. But afterall 4 hours in line was worth it.
i would like to go on it but i mean what is the difference?top thrill? kingda? 8 mph difference..its like saying it 80 degrees out.No its 85!its like that and its just a house taller. no whop!!!
IT GOES SO FAST YOU CAN BARELY SEE?top thrill dragster is the same..they should of never wasted like 30 million for an excat copy of ttd!i can see on top thrill!!!
