I just merged my Yahoo account and Flickr account. What’s that mean? Now my Yahoo ID is my login and password for Flickr and that’s about all. Or so I’ve seen so far.

I believe they do. You just need to update your username and password in any Flickr programs or third party apps.
Bad news: programs and plugins por up photos do not work 🙁
