It’s freaking amazing! The Powerbook survived getting soaked with no issues.
I got a call yesterday asking when I was coming home. It seems that there was a large glass of water to close to the laptop. The cat jumped up and spilled it on the keyboard and though the computer.
When I got home it was still leaving puddles when you turned it over. I opened it up and it was soaked. I shook out what I could and used a napkin to soak up what puddles I had access to. Then I left it open all night to dry.
This morning I decided it was time to give it a go. Sure enough, it worked!!!! The only thing I noticed wrong was the date was reset to 1969. No biggie there.
It’s amazing that it was completely soaked and it lived! WOW
