Does Your Smartphone Have a Passcode? It Should.
Do you have an iPhone, Android, BlackBerry or other smartphone? Do you have it protected by a passcode? You should.
This is something my wife pointed out long ago when I first got my iPod touch. I was adding apps that access my financial data and, whereas they were password protected, the iPod itself wasn’t.
If you think of it, you add your email, Twitter, Facebook and lots of apps to your phone. It’s a mini computer that you take everywhere, so why don’t you have it protected by a passcode or password?
Change Your Password Before Someone Else Does

I recently got an email from a friend of mine who was vacationing in London. They were writing to tell me that they were mugged at gunpoint and their wallet, cell phone and all their money was taken. Now they were stuck in London with no way to pay the hotel bill and no way to get home.
I was shocked and felt bad for them. What could I do to help? If they had asked, I’d donate money to get them back home as I knew I’d get paid back.
Protect Your Firefox With A Master Password.
Firefox has the ability to save usernames and passwords for easy access later. It’s a handy little feature but it does pose a possible problem. If someone else were to use your computer, or steal your profile folder, they’d be able to access all your accounts. That’s a bit scary. However, you can set a master password in Firefox and protect yourself.
A master password will allow anyone to use your browser, but, if they came across a page that had a saved username/password, Firefox will ask for the master password before auto populating the username and password fields. If the user doesn’t know it, they can hit cancel and continue to use the site without access to any of your accounts.
