There’s no shortage of interesting things at the local antique store. I found a colorful cat and kitten tea set, a frisky fox made out of wood, a caterpillar dog, an Erector set, and a Timekube; just to name a few. Believe it or not, my mom thinks she has that cat and kitten set. So someday...

Lily is mastering the typewriter.
Out if all the thing we saw on garage sales today this typewriter was the coolest. And I think it was only $5. Unfortunately the only thing we did buy were mini donuts. 🙂
Valleyfair Construction 1974
Back in 1974 there wasn’t much to Valleyfair. In fact, two local businessmen were just starting to build it. When Valleyfair opened in 1976, it had 20 attractions that included the Antique Cars, Bumper Cars, Ferris Wheel, High Roller roller coaster, Scrambler, SuperCat, and Wheel of Fortune. Amazingly enough, most of those are still there today!
