Call it a lap in judgment, or the curiosity that is eating me up, but I like trying new things and I’m considering trying Entourage*! This is big because I’m not a Microsoft fan. But Entourage is looking kinda nice. With mail, address book, calendar, appointments and notes all in one convent application, it’s just enticing me. I don’t know if I can hold out much longer. What should I do? What do you use on a Mac for an email client? Mail is nice, but not integrated as well into iCal and Address book. Thunderbird is nice, however the design is a little rough around the edges. Maybe Thunderbird 2 will be nicer.
What do you think? Is it worth a try? Am I missing some other great mail application?
*Not the 2004 version, the previous one.
I tried Entourage. I liked it very much. But then again, every mail application I’ve tried are lacking some features that the other one has. An I know! I’ve tried 5 different e-mail clients in the last 3 years.
But the Addressbook integration in mail is good. And I like one address book for all applications. With Entourage and Address Book you will keep syncing.
Good luck and let me know if you liked it 😉

Not sure if I’m switching yet. I may do a test run. My email is IMAP so I don’t have to worry about loosing messages. If/when I do a test, it’ll be for one of my secondary accounts.
