We are itching to go outside and play.

Spring hasn’t really sprung here yet, but it’s trying. The March sun is really nice, but the temps are still in the mid 30 to low 40s. That means that we are still waiting to go outside and play. Lily loves to go outside, and asks all the time. We finally broke down and have […]

Bubbles for the win!

One of Lily’s favorite things at the moment is bubbles. Every time we take a bath, she asks for bubbles. Heck, she’ll ask for bubbles even if it isn’t bath time. Unfortunately we were going through so many bubbles, we had to cut down to one special bubble bath time a week. She still loves […]

Ready or not, it’s potty time.

We all knew this day would come, but so soon? It’s time for potty training. Believe it or not, Lily is ready where as dad’s not quite. At daycare, Lily has been watching another girl get potty trained so she  knows the basics. When she goes into the bathroom, she knows to pull down her […]

Lily’s rash was an allergic reaction.

We took Lily into her 18 month checkup today and asked about her rash. Turns out it’s more than likely from the amoxicillin that she was on for her bronchitis. It should clear up in a few days. We’re not sure if she’ll be allergic to amoxicillin forever, or if it’s just a temporary thing. […]

We’ve got dots! Lots of dots!

Not sure what’s going on now, but Lily’s latest item is a rash; lots and lots of little red dots. There are no sores, no blisters and it’s not itchy. Lily is pretty happy otherwise so we’re not freaking out just yet. Tomorrow she has her 18 month checkup so she’ll be into the doctor’s […]

Tips to giving medicine to your little ones.

We’ll Lily has completed her first round of medications. She had to take both eye drops and liquid meds and she did pretty well. With the eye drops the trick was to turn her head to the left try to put them in the corner of her left eye, right by the tear duct. Once […]
