We have now had 2 cats for a year one we have had in our family 3 years and one just one year. One Sassy, is a female, and Chunk is a male. Now most of the time we live in easy going with the cats accepting each other fine but Sassy still is awfully pissy with Chunk sometimes. Now to give you a little more detail Chunk is a cat who loves everyone, every night he curls up in my neck with his paws kneading either side of my neck, he scares easily but we think that comes from being brought to Minnesota from Las Vegas. Sassy on the other hand was adopted out of a loving home but has always been a little standoffish and wanted attention when she wants it. We adopted Chunk about a month after we moved into our first house thinking that that would be better then when Sassy had dominated the place for her life. The first two months were really hard because sassy wanted nothing to do with chunk which was ok because we had to keep them separated anyways because Chunk had an upper respiratory infection. Finally we decided that it was time to bring them together slowly which sassy still hated; she was curious but pissy. Slowly she decided he wasn’t going anywhere and stopped hissing and swatting at the kitten regularly. Still though if he wants to be near her she gets pissy and swats him or if he is in a spot she wants she does that. They play viciously where hair comes flying and you hear yowling and growling but yet in the next breath the share a chair in front of an outside door. Is this normal cat behavior? I just wonder if they are ever going to get along better?

X-Men 3: Very good
So the other weekend we went and saw X-Men 3 which I was very excited about because I loved the first two movies. I can honestly say that it lived up to its hype it was a great movie with humor, action, and romance all of the makings of a great movie in my mind. The only thing that was only so so was that it was basically the same as the first two with a few waging war against Magneto. I figure there is probably going to be a fourth because they hinted at it in the end and even though they are all the same they still are worth spending 2 hours enjoying them. So I would give this movie a 9 out of 10.
Chipmunks-Cute or the Pest
All winter long this winter my car randomly had issues where it would be going fine and then all of a sudden would jerk like the transmission wasn’t working. Well towards spring we took it in for its 30,000 mile check up and what do you know the mechanics found a cup full of birdseed in the engine. So next thing we decided was that we would put rat poison down in the garage thinking that would stop whatever was putting the birdseed there. It didn’t and we couldn’t find any traces of rodent in the garage. We were stumped. That was until one day we were sitting outside enjoying a spring day and next thing you know we see a chipmunk squeeze out from underneath our front steps. We assume that he had been frozen out of his home in the winter and crawled up a crack we have in our door and crawled into my car. Now the first time I saw him I thought he was very cute. That was until he started climbing our bird feeder and emptying it out weekly. Now the birds don’t come as often and we still have to fill up regularly. We figure under our step is full of birdseed by now. So my husband got creative and cut a milk gallon in half and wrapped it around the pole to get to the feeder. Only the chipmunk was smarter (it took him a day or two) and figured out if he climbed up the hanging basket pole we have like 3-5 feet away from the bird feeder and then fling himself towards the bird feeder he would sometimes make it. Now being an animal lover the first time he did this I was impressed until the second time then he hit the edge of the bird feeder with a clunk and fell to the rocks. That I didn’t like much as I didn’t like him climbing it I didn’t want a dead or knocked out chipmunk on my hands so we took that down. I don’t know whether to be impressed overall with the chipmunks ingenious or be annoyed we will have to see what else we can figure out to deter him.
Medical Insurance-Hospital Bills
Well as I said I broke my leg the other week and let me tell you I don’t like seeing how much things cost. Luckily I have medical insurance but I have no idea how much they cover. My little broken ankle was so far 15,000 that’s alot of money. One thing that you have to be careful of though is I received my bill which was not itemized. I kind of wanted to see what made up this cost and so requested an itemized bill and upon looking at it realized they charged me for 1 more screw then was in my ankle (I have the picture) and they charged me for 3 physical therapy sessions and I only had two. You have to be careful and for all those people that don’t have insurance get some! That’s just my recommendation after seeing these bills I can’t imagine not having some.
