Great, Hard To Find, Firefox Themes

Firefox themes are great and I’m always on the lookout for more. But sometimes, finding the coolest ones takes a bit of work.

addons.mozilla.org is the first stop for finding any themes. However, this official listing doesn’t include everyone. Some theme developers don’t take the time to upload theirs for some reason. The second place I always look is DeviantART.

DeviantART Firefox themes are usually quite nice, but mainly designed for PCs. That hasn’t stopped me from trying them and lately I’ve been finding a few cool ones.

There is a slue of IE7 Vista light and dark themes that look pretty solid, but only a few are downloadable at this time. Check out VistaFox and Firefox 2 Vista Black Beta. Both are pretty slick looking.

// Images lost. Sorry. Zooomr ate it. Comment if you want me to dig them back up. //

One of my new favorites that I just found the other day is Firefox 2 Windows Media 11. It’s got a dark, shinny look and feel with blue highlights and even though I know it’s based off a Microsoft product, I think it still looks amazing.

Another theme that caught my eye was Super Mario Bros 3. I had always thought of creating a Mario theme but someone beat me to it and this one looks pretty sweet.

It’s places like DeviantART that have some great looking themes, but most people don’t think of right away. Other authors have themes in progress and they are hidden in forums or on websites somewhere.

What else have you found?
