We’ve driven by the Big Thrill Factory many times, but never actually visited. That was until yesterday. Lily and I had a daddy daughter day and decided to check it out. Turns out, it’s a lot of fun! We got to play laser tag, explore the rope course, and play in the indoor play area. […]
Friday night we went down to my parents farm, camped out, and spent Saturday enjoying the farm. From roasting marshmallows to riding the four wheeler, and bailing cornstalk bails, there’s always something fun to do on the farm. It all started with a camp fire. My brother and dad build us a nice fire so […]
This year Dimler’s pumpkin farm has more decorations and more fun. It’s always a good time and picking your own pumpkins is the way to go.
If you’re willing to go on a little drive, A Maze’n Farmyard in Eden Valley, Mn is a great time. Granted, it’s a bit west of the city, but you can spend all day there. For $10 we enjoyed: Mini Golf Bounce Houses Giant Slide Maze (not corn, but cool) Feeding goats, pigs, ducks and […]
We stumbled across the worlds largest ball of twine today. It’s located in Darwin, Mn and it’s just as amazing as it sounds! Weird reflection thanks to the sun.
There’s no shortage of interesting things at the local antique store. I found a colorful cat and kitten tea set, a frisky fox made out of wood, a caterpillar dog, an Erector set, and a Timekube; just to name a few. Believe it or not, my mom thinks she has that cat and kitten set. So someday […]
Last time I went shopping on Amazon I ended up in that spot where I could either put a few more dollars in my cart and get free shipping, or spend $8 on shipping. Of course I searched for something cheap and cool. Then I found the LED rotating party light and it’s amazing. For about $4 […]
Last winter, 2013/2014, we had roughly 70 inches of snow! This year however, we’ve only had about 25 inches. Our biggest snow storm only dropped 3.4 inches. Even when it did fall, it disappeared shortly there after; which means didn’t get the chance to pile up. Snowmobiling was basically nonexistent this winter and sledding was on only a few […]
Lily had a great idea over the weekend and that was to make the cats some bedazzled necklaces. She did all the designing and I just helped tie the strings. Oddly enough, the cats didn’t mind wearing them. I think they kind of liked them. Maybe we should start selling them on Etsy. What do you think?
We took Lily bowling for the first time this weekend and she’s pretty good at it. It seems that Lily has been learning bowling in school and she already knew how to properly hold a bowling ball. I thought this was pretty impressive. She put her fingers in the right holes, walked right up to […]
