MIMA & Cool Websites

The other night I went to my first Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA) meeting and the focus of the evening was favorite websites. Anyone who wanted could discuss a favorite website of theirs and tell why. It could be their favorite due to good content, nice design, unique idea, good colors or whatever you could […]

ListingCorp Scam

I received a letter the other day from Listingcorp.com. It says that one of my domains has received some search engine listings service and I owe $35. Now, I knew that something couldn’t be right, however this looks exactly like a bill. It tells me the amounts, what they are for, my customer number, notice […]

Take that referrer spam.

Now I’m not exactly sure how referrer spam works, but I don’t seem to like it. I keep getting hits from sites that aren’t linking to me legitly and are doing nothing but filling my stats with crap. Now I have a chance to defend myself. I just found a referrer bouncer plug-for WordPress and […]

Minnesota Revenue Recapture Fee

Have you ever heard of a revenue recapture fee? Well it’s a fee that the state can take out of you state tax refund for outstanding bills. It’s a good idea as the state is entitled to their money, however the system is screwed up. This year they took out $50 + $15 service fee […]

Yahoo 2005

I’ve been trying to switch over to Yahoo for search and use some of their tools more and more. And I decided, to be fair, I should start up a new Yahoo account. I’ll keep my old one, but I’m starting a new one fresh. No spam, no nothing. I’m going to try and see […]

Napoleon Dynamite Blows

We were told to see Napoleon Dynamite as it was a great movie, so we did. Well it wasn’t. No plot, no storyline, however good/odd characters. Maybe you need to watch it drunk or high or something other than what we were. I would recommend it to others though as I think it’d be funny […]
